Head down to Jing Jai Market, a 40-acre complex with 2 markets.

Farmer’s Market is a lively weekend market supplying organic fruits & vegetables, plus food, beverages & handicrafts.
They have the oh-so-sinful fried pork skin stall and next to it is a stall selling food to eat with stick rice.
We ordered 3 items : Fish Laab, Pork Jelly and Baby Jackfruit, together with 2 packs of sticky rice, it just cost us 80thb!

At Rustic Market, you can find cafes in vans and pop up bakeries, even more handicraft, clothes and collectibles.
There are some vendors selling really retro stuff, like old Thai comics and magazines.

If you are the kind who wants to avoid the crowd then head down early (like 7 – 8am early) on a Saturday.
Sunday is when the vendors come in full force and it gets crowded with people.

Shuttle service for tourists are available from :
Central Plaza (Near Chiangmai Airport)
Central Festival (Mall along the Super highway).
