What if you have a phone assistant that can make your life better? Like totally better. Like a 360 degrees life turnaround.
Yea let’s meet Jexi (Rose Bryne), the saucy and ultra intelligent phone assistant that will satisfy every single men. Stereo-typically speaking.
We fall in love with our phone too much, yet not being able to admit to it is pretty embarrassing to say, we have fallen a little too deep for comfort.

Phil (Adam Devine finally not cast as an A*Hole) is a stereotypical introvert guy who likes being alone simply he doesn’t have any opportunities to hang around because everyone is else are also too preoccupied with their smart phones.
So i suppose as time goes by, Phil didn’t feel like doing anything else except doing everything else with his smartphone. Yeah…

According to Jexi, Phil have 0 friends, and 0 events recorded in the phone. Which makes the movie interesting because you will see how Jexi changes his life.

Oh yeah, getting contact and wanting to message them almost immediately is too accurate and cringe.
Then how long should i wait? (Email me, i will answer you.)

How can miss out Adam Devine’s dicky when you watch his film? He makes sure that the scene is in your face. But it’s not gross. Funny, not gross.

Conclusion on Jexi: Watch if you’re bored, it’s better than average comedy

I like Jexi constant sarcasm towards our tech reliant society. How the movie also pushes users of smart phone worship to extremities, the satire of tech and lifestyle are pretty accurate.

But overall it is the cliche theme that revolves around putting down your piece of tech and get out to meet some people. We never know how interesting our life is until you are willing to put in more effort.
(Not the bit of wussy effort. Do you even call that an effort???)

While it doesn’t make you think much about your life. But it sure can make you think how much of your life revolves around your phone. If it doesn’t, then maybe you belong to camp Phone worship? Just saying, bye!
