Ah Khoo Kopi Toast (Our Tampines Hub)

Started by Hans, a well known brand that already provides food at a decent price. Ah Khoo has been around for a while and I will share my usual order whenever I patronise them.

Beef Noodles
$7.80

As you can see, they are extremely generous with their beef portions. The beef is chunky and soft, definitely more worth it than the slices you get at other places that serves beef noodles.

The soup is a mildly spicy beef broth, some might prefer it a little less salty but I am fine with it.

Beef Stew With Rice
$7.80

If spiciness isn’t your thing then you can get the Beef Stew. Same as the beef noodles, the portions are generous. The potato hasn’t been fried before getting simmered in the stew so it breaks up as you try to pick it up.

The stew is not too thick, almost like a cream of tomato soup. Perfect for drizzling on rice.

The beef is easy to tear open, it is soft and not too chewy. For less than $10 for this kind of portion, I think it is worth it to have whenever you need a quick beef noodle / rice fix.
